Subject: The Flirtations

Hi group,

I just heard from a collector that there is a CD compilation/
Best Of The Flirtations out now. I don't know how long it's been
out and I forget the label. Does anyone have this? Is there a web
site I could find the track listing or where I could place an order?

Will : )

Can any of the inhabitants of planet Spectropop tell me who recorded the original versions of their compositions "What You Got" and "So This Is How It Feels"? I am aware of the British versions by the Eccentrics and the Countrymen, respectively. Surely previous American renditions exist. Does anyone know? Sorry it's > not much to go on... Well Will, I don't know Joe, but I've got a 45 by Shane DeShannon, who couples "Reconsider baby" with "Are you lonesome tonight" on Ringo Records, a label from Hartman, Arkansas. Shane seems to be an Elvis fan. And I've got just a few records by another DeShannon, girl singer, forget her name, must be getting old.......
